Announcing Team Collaboration Features
AssessKit now supports real-time collaboration! Multiple researchers can now work on the same experiment simultaneously with live presence indicators.
We're thrilled to announce the release of AssessKit 2.0, our most significant update yet. This release brings powerful new features designed specifically for research teams and collaborative work.
Multiple researchers can now work on the same experiment simultaneously. See live presence indicators showing who's viewing or editing, with real-time updates as changes are made. The system uses operational transformation to merge edits seamlessly, preventing conflicts even when multiple users modify the same node.
Describe your experiment in natural language and let our AI assistant help you build it. The AI understands psychology methodology and can suggest appropriate tasks, counterbalancing strategies, and experimental designs. Simply describe what you want to measure, and the AI will propose a complete experimental framework with task selection, randomization logic, and best practices baked in.
Organize your research with workspaces designed for teams. Create organizations, manage projects, control access permissions, and keep your experiments organized across multiple studies. Each workspace provides isolated environments for different research groups, with granular permission controls at the organization, project, and experiment levels.
We've optimized the task editor for better performance with large experiments. Experience smoother interactions, faster saves, and improved rendering even with complex experiment designs. Canvas rendering is now GPU-accelerated, auto-save happens in the background without blocking the UI, and we've implemented virtual scrolling for experiments with hundreds of components.
Every change to your experiment is tracked. See who made what modifications and when. Restore previous versions with a single click. The version history system creates immutable snapshots, so you never lose work and can always trace back through your experimental design iterations.
We've implemented enterprise-grade security features. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Community-submitted experiments go through automated security scanning to detect malicious code. Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts, and we support SSO integration for institutional users.
60+ new psychology tasks have been added to the library, including advanced attention paradigms, memory assessments, decision-making tasks, and social cognition experiments. Each task is fully configurable and comes with sensible defaults based on published research.
Export your data in multiple formats: CSV, JSON, or direct integration with R and Python analysis pipelines. We've added built-in data validation and quality checks, plus automatic exclusion criteria based on attention check performance.
This is just the beginning. We're working on advanced data analysis tools, integrated participant recruitment through Prolific and CloudResearch, automated power analysis, and more psychology tasks. We're also building mobile-optimized experiment delivery and longitudinal study management tools. Stay tuned for more updates!
